The law offices of Manatt, Phelps & Phillips LLP are sending out notices to some websites regarding illegal material on their websites. This law office is the same group of attorney's that handled the Victoria's Secret problem for Metallica. The problem appears to be with sites distributing illegal Metallica items or sites that make money off of the Metallica name. So, if you are a distributor of Metallica sound files, sell or distribute other illegal items, or have advertising on your site, beware!! We are told they are very serious this time. Now, may be a good time to re-read the Metallica copyright on www.metallica.com. NEWS ARCHIVES
