Gerri Miller of Metal Edge magazine provides an interesting quote from Lars: "People think there's some kind of weird shit buried there, which we're totally over. I'm sure that one day we will do some shows with Dave again.  Whether it's gonna be this year or five years from now...but I think it will happen.   We'll get there."   

What exactly did Lars mean?  "I'm sure that one day we will do some shows with Dave again"   Will we see Mustaine onstage again with Metallica?  Or simply have Megadeth and Metallica on the same bill again?   

'THE UNFORGIVEN II' VIDEO & MTV LIVE

The video for The Unforgiven II will debut on Monday.  Lars will allegedly be on MTV Live at 9:00 pm EST to kick off the debut of the video.

Metallica is on break until Late March when the tour begins again in New Zealand and Australia.  The Summer Sheds tour will follow with an unknown opener.  The opener, however, will NOT be Megadeth.   

DEATH THREATS

Lars went on KSJO radio to make a statement against some death threats that were received by the band.   

UPDATE:  The death threats were actually directed toward Bob Rock by close-minded fans who blame him for the "change" in Metallica.

Recently, some other Metallica related web sites have posted private e-mails as News items, and another Metallica Club chapter has sent versions of the same out. Yes, the information in that e-mail is noteworthy... but is it News, or just someone sensationalizing a story? Inter Sandman is saddened that people have to stoop to posting private communications, we will NEVER post a private e-mail without the consent of that individual.

I guess the only question that remains is what he'd like the baby to be.   

"It doesn't matter, really. I'd love to have a boy, because I think boys rule. Our kind of main guy here in Metallica, Zach is his name, he's got a daughter. She's awesome. I was always pulling for a boy; a girl would be great too. As long as it's healthy, it doesn't matter to me."    
   

JAMES DOES BUSH

Look for James to be a part of Bush's new home video called "Alleys and Motorways." James is the subject of an interview with Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale, also interviewed are Marilyn Manson and Gwen Stefani of No Doubt. These interviews were taken at August's Reading Festival.
